WHAT IF....everything you know is wrong?

The Truth Will Set You Free: Preparations for a journey through real history?
WHAT IF....everything you know is wrong? Have you ever asked yourself this philosophical question? You should!!! Napoleon Bonaparte once said: "What is history but a fable agreed upon?" More recently Winston Churchill said: "History will be kind to me for I intend to write it". His opponent, Adolf Hitler, spoke: "The victor will never be asked if he told the truth". Be sure that our history books would have looked differently if the Germans had won World War II. Considering this fact drives us to the question: "what is real history?". George Santayana concluded: "History is a pack of lies about events that never happened told by people who weren't there". Gilbert Chesterton said: "People who make history know nothing about history. You can see that in the sort of history they make.". So the questions: "Do our history books tell the truth?" and "What is the truth?", are legitimate. History is not a religion, so we don't have to believe everything that has been written. We especially need to question and research that part of history that is forced up to us by law. We should verify the facts of history by ourselves!

Verifying facts is not always easy as most part of historical reality happened when we where not there. We need to behave like a judge in a court, who wasn't there when the crime actually took place. The best evidence is said to be the primary evidence or physical evidence, although this piece of evidence can be falsified too. It's important to understand the origin of the evidence. Further there is secondary evidence like documents, photos and video's and testimonials. We need to be more suspicious about this kind of evidence, it important to understand how and by whom it was obtained. We can include scientific evidence, but law has a different approach to this as science has.

But actually why should we care about history, as we live today? A possible answer is given by George Orwell in his classical novel "1984": "Who controls the past, controls the future: who controls the present controls the past." Today's news is tomorrows history. So it's from a vital importance that today's media tell us the truth, but will they? Willy Munzenberg said: "All news is lies and all propaganda is disguised as news", Joseph Goebbels said: "Think of the press as a great keyboard on which the government can play", William Colby said: "The Central Intelligence Agency owns everyone of any significance in the major media".

The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, and intolerable.
--- H.L. Mencken---

Most people think that they are free, but they are trapped in the Matrix, a prison of the mind build by thoughts shaped by the media. It's the world pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth. In this article we will try to hack that Matrix.

This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes. Remember, all I'm offering is the truth, nothing more.
---Morpheus: The Matrix---

So whoever wants to command the future, needs to conquer the past. And to conquer the past, it necessary to control the present. But is this possible? New technologies gave new possibilities, and one of them is the Internet. George Orwell wrote: "In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act". The internet is a perfect medium to share information with a large public, or to discuss new views outside the controlled media. The internet is easy accessible, everyone should be able to educate themselves and wake up from their slumber. And after this there is not turning back, because: "Once you are a pickle you can't ever be a cucumber again". Hitler's Reich Marshall Hermann Goering said: "Education is dangerous - Every educated person is a future enemy". They don't want the average person to be educated on important issues. "Cyperspace" is the todays new battlefield where a new kind of war is going on, it's called the "Information war".

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
--- Arthur Schopenhauer, German philosopher (1788 - 1860) ---

Many people are working overtime to spread the deception over the Internet, sometimes even payed. Those internet soldiers create deceptive websites, influence or bury information on bulletin boards, they call in on radio shows and penetrate other media. If you start your own research to the truth, be very careful in trusting anybody, not even me. Even pages that look honest and give you lots of good information can be created to railroad you to a side track. Critical thinking needs to become a part of you. Most people are born in a bondage, they rely on information from their parents, their education, some books, the media, and their friends. People who have a lemming-like mentality or herd mentality are often referred to as Sheeple. This word is a blend of the words sheep and people. Because the word is dehumanizing people, as talking animals, it is considered to be an unfriendly term. Nevertheless herd mentality is normal psychological behavior by living species, as we can see from fishes, insects, wild animals, birds and sheep. The term herd mentality is also referred more positively as group intelligence, and is a kind of survival strategy. As the highest trees catches the most wind. People who don't go with the flow are often criticized and can become in danger. Although all discoveries were made by people who didn't follow the way of the masses. A person without significance to a society is sometimes referred to as a useless eater. Although useless eaters can become very useful as they are commonly used as soldier, and many of them like to die for their country.

The truth is not for all men, but only for those who seek it.
---Ayn Rand---

People who don't want you to know the real truth and will try everything to distract you from it. Many people who start to wake up will, at a later stage, still be railroaded to a site track by the alternative media or activist organization. This because those media and activist organizations are often part of, infiltrated, or taken over by the criminals. Make up your own mind, and don't let it be controlled by others. Don't fool yourself if they tell you that: you live in a free society or in a democratic country. Most EU-countries have NO freedom of speech, and people can be convicted of "thought crimes". What does a democracy mean if your vote is based on disinformation? Maybe even this article is biased, because I'm not allowed to say whatever is true. But I wouldn't worry about it for now, because the television is much worse. Television is an amusement park that keeps you busy so you won't come in the way of important people. Another way to distract people from reality is football. Football is a promoted fictional war, that keeps men in the dark of the real wars going on in the world. The idiot box is to keep you distracted and your brain poisoned. Study this article and you shall understand why. I agree it's not an easy story I am trying to explain issues that interfere with your current believe system. But realize that events are not always how they appear to be. So don't judge to quickly. But you won't ..... will you?

Because the owners of this country know the truth. It’s called the American Dream - because you have to be asleep to believe it
---George Carlin ----

Learn to think for yourself!: Resisting the learning of new information.
Before you read my booklet you need to be aware of some psychological effects. The most important effect is cognitive dissonance. It is a psychological phenomenon which refers to the discomfort felt at a discrepancy between what you already know or believe, and new information or interpretation. If someone is called upon to learn something which contradicts what they already think they know — particularly if they are committed to that prior knowledge — they are likely to resist the new learning. For example: those effects occur also in other cases, like family incest. The mother of an abused child can be aware of what is going on, but she suppresses new information coming in. Her believe system tells: "Her husband is only in love with her and should only make sex with her". If learning information has been difficult, uncomfortable, or even humiliating, people are less likely to concede that the content of what has been learned is useless, pointless or valueless. Ordeal is therefore an effective — if spurious — way of conferring value on an educational (or any other) experience. "No pain, no gain", as they say. That which does not kill you can only make you stronger. Some people told me that my story has caused them tears, others told me they had sleepless nights. But nevertheless most people are happy they now understand our world better. My booklet also contains a lot of humor, so don't feel bad. Life is meant to enjoy. So enjoy your tour in wonderland.

The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education.
